When the clouds are finally breaking and the light of the experience is starting to flood into consciousness. The landscapes I paint evolve from actual places I walk daily. Sometimes I can not believe the beauty in front of me and how it comes to have such a depth of meaning as I paint it. For this painting, I liked the way the light illuminated a vibrant landscape below. The rays of light symbolize divine grace and hope to me and suggest a transition from turmoil to peace.
