The Light Chaser’s Mirror

Absorbing the amplified spectral rays of light, this piece imagines the place between the physical and non-physical and asks the question, what if our senses were heightened to see the full radiance of light? There is a point of balance between stillness and movement in this painting, physical and non-physical, real and imagined that I am very happy about. I like the explosive quality of this composition and the way a viewer could be both enticed or repulsed by it depending on their connection to light on the path.
